![]() I'll be switching back to Mullvad for sure. What's the deal with Proton that makes it such a poor user experience? I've always avoided the free servers, but even then have issues. Protonvpns secure VPN sends your internet traffic through an encrypted VPN tunnel, so your passwords and confidential data stay safe even over. I switched to the other VPN service I've been using and everything worked flawlessly. For example, I was just on VA, GA, and IL servers and all received google captchas and were blocked by United Airlines. I've tried numerous servers in the US but am still plagued with captchas from Google and sites blocking me. The VPN service has both free and premium plans, but users can. ProtonVPN runs on Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, and routers. However, I recently decided to switch back to Proton thinking it would be better, but it's a shit show. ProtonVPN is one of the reliable alternatives of NordVPN when it comes to well-optimized servers. ProtonVPN is a sibling company to ProtonMail, a secure email service built to protect activists, journalists, and others worldwide. I haven't had to think about my VPN the last year because it just worked - no captchas, no blocked sites, or any other issues. ![]() I stopped using the VPN about a year and a half ago and switched to different service. The VPN was a disaster when it was first released - Proton charged a premium price for a mediocre service and it took a solid year before Proton worked out some of the bugs. I've been a paid subscriber as long as Proton has offered paid plans (currently Unlimited).
